Cargo Handling Facilities
Import Cargoes Cargoes are discharged on the quay, separated, tallied by the Port and sent to the Warehouse for storage and delivery to the consignees. There are five (5) warehouses on the quay. Hazardous cargo and heavy lifts over 28.0 t are acceptable to be discharged only for direct delivery. There is no shore crane available on the quay. Mobile cranes varying from 1.5 t to 25.0 t capacity are, however available for hire at an advance request. Heavy LiftsHandling of heavy lifts at the Port is subject to the availability and capacity of the Port crane.
